This isn't a Link but a Windows XP troubleshooting Tip I came up with:
If you ever upgraded a Computer from Windows 98 to Windows XP with Two Partitions on a Hard drive you may run into this problem.
After I upgraded the Computer to Windows Defrag / DiskKeeper would not work. It would just sit there and do nothing with either analysis or trying to defragment the drive. I ran Partition Magic 8.0 to see if there was anything wrong with the settings of the drive.
When I had it running with Windows 98 I set both Partitions to 8K cluster size. The second partition was still 8 K but apparently Windows XP reset the cluster size on the main partition to 16K. It is also apparent that Defrag / DiskKeeper cannot handle a split cluster drive which is why it would sit there. I had Partition Magic reset the partition to 8 K and able to run Defrag / Diskkeeper with no problem. Hope this helps a lot of tech's out there from re-formatting unnecessarily.

External IDE Hard Drive To USB 2.0 Driver
This External Hard Drive Case takes any size IDE Hard Drive and you just plug it in to a 2.0 or even a 1.0 USB Port and have access to that drive instantly. Better than a Zip Drive.
